Books. Love them. This is a girl who got caught reading during math class in 3rd grade, and cried on the bus the same year because someone threatened to rip a book up.

I’ll read stories from historical fiction to crime, mystery to biography, supernatural to non fiction. Its about the story, the characters, the writer’s ability to make you see what’s going on in your mind as you are reading the words.

I could own a small library by this point, rent out my books on the Civil War, organized crime, memoirs.

My favorite author is Dennis Lehane, who wrote Mystic River, Shutter Island, The Given Day trilogy, The Drop, and my favorite book series of all time, the Kenzie/Gennaro series (most known for the adaptation of “Gone, Baby, Gone”.
